Moody Law Group is pleased to announce that Chris Bynum has joined the firm, bolstering the firm’s already robust commercial real estate practice.
Mr. Bynum focuses his practice on representing individuals and enterprises in business, real estate and construction transactions. For more than two decades, he has been able to use his diverse background to assist clients in a wide range of transactions and as a trial lawyer. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Bynum was a licensed Texas real estate broker working in commercial real estate banking, development, and investment. It was during that time that he earned the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

During his career, Mr. Bynum served as real estate and corporate counsel with several law firms, and he served as general counsel with a privately owned, nationally recognized corporation. Before joining Moody Law Group, Mr. Bynum managed his own law firm, where he handled business, real estate, and construction litigation and transactions. He also served as a white-collar felony prosecutor for the Jefferson County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in Beaumont, Texas.
Mr. Bynum received his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
